WHO IS QUEEN?
by Chris Hosea
after Adam Pendelton
It’s all grey area
you can’t entirely
discern the end
of the chromatic
spectrum music
tries mono-ing us
stereo-ing us
if neither satisfies
full busy Sundays
you’d like
movement
in rooms
spinning
everything
toward limits
ushers darkness-
es to ultimate
violence
that surrounds one
taking courage
tending to today’s
love’s needs
HOLD MUSIC
by Chris Hosea
Set on speaker reach
my line, say, for
example:
‘You
are going
in and out’
*
To think all far, dear
numbers
ever
we knew
as if
one could
two
